We all have emotional attachments to our past relationships, it’s all part of the journey, the learning. It’s easy to get pulled back into these emotions without being fully aware it is even happening.
The sub conscious kicks in and before you know it we are reacting to a situation without thinking about why or where it has come from. The sub conscious is there to keep us safe to remind us of our past so we don’t repeat the same story. But what happens is it brings up all our emotions that we experienced from that relationship and we end up reacting in exactly the same way even though it has nothing to do with the present.
